This publication is gently nudging people to be responsible and respectful of the environment by cleaning up their cigarette tips after smoking. I chose a Chinese Evergreen plant which naturally purifies and freshens the air as the kiosk to hold the publication. I then placed the plant with the publication inside of the smoking shelter to not only refresh the air but to provide a way for those occupying the shelter a chance to read the publication.
Jane Good is an imaginary character developed by a fellow classmate.
Jane is a quiet and reserved individual with bold red hair.
When she was young, she saw an UFO and since then has loved to star gaze with her stuffed Teddy Bear. Her love for the starry sky led her to join the Star Searchers Club.
This project is a study of Jane Good.
At first, I created a scene of an ordinary night in the life of Jane. In this scene, while she watches the stars quietly, a voice arises in her mind saying, "Light up the fire!"
Additionally, I designed a patch for the Star Searchers Club, and sewed it into my dress. While wearing my dress, I took on the role of Jane Good.
My final piece in the Jane Good series was a 1:1 full scale poster to show Jane's interest and characteristics.
This project is an experimental exploration of Medusa where I started with sketching the story of Medusa and then attempted to utilize shape and line to simplify Medusa's form. Afterwards, I took the simplified form and created a shopping bag. After exploring two-dimensional design options, I moved to three-dimensional design. I created a poster where the elements in the final product can be cut out and built into a three-dimensional Medusa paper toy. Following this print piece, I developed a hat and a tooth brush based on Medusa's characteristics as additional explorations.

I laser cut the typography form on clear acrylic and align it on the top of the illustration poster for the exhibition.
This is a group project that corporate with Eunkyung Kwon, Joo-Young Ko and William Trey Nunnally.
